A big thank you to all of the participants in the 2018 Motor Gathering – it was another fantastic event that raised over $186,000 for local charities. The skies may have been a bit temperamental, and the air had a slight chill, but the Vancouver Island car community still came out in full force to showcase the best of the best.
It’s never an easy job for the judges finding the best of each category. The passion, soul, and incredible dedication that goes into each of these vehicles is second to none. This year, the Coachwerks Restoration team took to judging, and all brought their expertise from different areas of the auto world. They were finally able to determine the true winners of the show by taking into account, the customization, uniqueness, and attention to detail showcased in each of the categories.
A special thank you to those category winners that donated their funds back to the charities: Hayden Sager, Best Japanese; Bill Johnson, Best Sports Car; Steve Seixeiro, Best Italian; and Malcolm Jeffers, Best Classic.
Congratulations to the 2018 Motor Gathering Winners and to Brian Cairne whose 1958 Chevy Impala stole the show and will grace our t-shirts next year!
