The 8th annual charity car show is here and we’d like to start off by extending a big thank you to our sponsors and car lovers for their continued support. Through your generous contributions over the last 7 years, we have raised over $1,000,000 for charities that support our local communities.

We have an exciting year ahead with some big changes to the format of the event. Every year, we strive to make the show a more unique and exciting experience to keep our supporters intrigued. In the last 7 years, the show has grown from 85 cars, to 600, and while our cars and coffee style of show has gathered over 10,000 spectators each year, it was time for a change.  For our 8th year, we will be starting a new chapter that will allow collectors of classic automobiles, the opportunity to showcase and win in an official Concours d’Elegance.  As a result, we are proud to announce the relaunch of the Motor Gathering as the Vancouver Island Concours d’Elegance. This year’s show will focus on featuring classic and significant automobiles with award categories being announced next week.  This collection of vehicles will pair spectacularly with the historical architecture and modern innovation featured on the grounds of Shawnigan Lake School.

Once again, 100% of all funds raised this year will support the David Foster Foundation, the Cowichan District Hospital Foundation and a selection of other local families on Vancouver Island.

The event will take place on August 25th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Shawnigan Lake School. There will be ample parking for spectators and registrants on site as well!

Thank you all again!! We hope you are as excited as we are for this year’s event.

Stay tuned for updates on registration and more!
